Trade Mission of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow has the honor to inform you
about the organization of a working visit of Russian businessmen at the 15th
International Packaging Exhibition in Istanbul - one of the world's largest
exhibitions of packaging industry. The trip is organized by Istanbul Exporters'
Associations and the Trade Mission of the Embassy in the framework of the
coordination of the Undersecretariat of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade of
Turkey.
Members of the working delegation will be given the opportunity to direct
negotiations with Turkish producers and exporters of packaging and packaging
materials made of plastic, metal, paper and paperboard and visit some of these
companies. During the exhibition "Packaging 2008" Russia's businessmen will get
acquainted with the numerous examples of modern packaging products made of
various materials and packaging equipment.
Dates of business trip: 20 - 24 October 2009.
Travel conditions: The Turkish side pays for hotel
accommodation with breakfast, transfers and organizes the work program. Air
tickets, visa and partially expenses for meals are paid by the representatives
of Russian companies involved in the work program.

Turkish
national participation at the Rosupak 2009 Processes and Packaging Fair,
regarded as one of the most comprehensive and well-known exhibitions in the
world for packaging industry, was carried into effect under the auspices of the
General Secretariat of Istanbul Exporters’ Associations.
Developing technology, new and creative ideas in packaging and trends together
with the qualified products, leading companies from the Turkish packaging
industry were located on 9 stands at 144 m2.
Turkish national stand was visited by many businessmen and by Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary Embassador of the Turkish Republic in RF Mr Halil Akıncı.

industry will be located on 8 stands in Hall 3.
Turkish exporters meet with the leading global companies at the Rosupak during
15-19 June 2009 in Moskow. Conceived by the Istanbul Exporters’ Associations,
the “Turkish Packology” concept aims to carry out Turkey’s
regional role to the leadership in global markets.

In order to meet with Russian packaging importers, industrial associations and
business program organizers, a visit to Moscow was organized between 8 – 11
April 2009 within the frame of Turkish Packology Project.
Project Committee Members Gürkan Süzer (Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade) and
Levent Çolakoğlu (Istanbul Wood and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association)
with Aykut Deniz Kayalar (Chief - Istanbul Exporters’ Associations) and Hüseyin
Ceylan (Assistant Reporter - Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’
Associations) have attended the visit.
Within the program, 3 packaging importer companies, 2 industrial associations
(The Association of Russian Ice Cream Producers and Perfumery and Cosmetics
Association of Russia) and business program organizers of Worldfood Moscow and
Rosupak exhibitions were visited. All of the negotiations were efficient and
beneficial for the project.

Developing technology, new and creative ideas in packaging and trends together with the qualified products, leading companies from the Turkish packaging and processes industry will be located on 23 stands in Hall 6. |
